Mom is 46 years old. She is married and resides with four children in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has been sewing clothes for more than four years, earning approximately $5 daily. Her husband is a soldier who earns about $2 per day. In order to improve her family’s finances, Mom is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase more cloth to use for sewing. This purchase will help her sew more clothes to sell and earn more income for her family. In the future, she would like to purchase more sewing machines to expand her shop and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees. Moreover, she hopes to build a new house as soon as possible.
