A loan of $600 helped to buy motorcycle spare parts as well as a second-hand mototaxi.

Ray's story

Ray, 42, is a hardworking, dedicated man as well as cheerful and sociable. He lives with Delia who is a housewife and the mother of their four children: Jack, 21, Pitter, 17, Clar, 10, and Jamilet, 7, who he wants to provide a better quality of life for. He lives with his spouse and children comfortably in their own house.

Ray works selling spare parts for motorcycles and mototaxis. He provides tire repair services, oil change, lubrication, engine replacement and other functions. He also buys and sells small, second-hand vehicles. He repairs them and fixes them up leaving them in optimal condition so that he can sell them for a good price. To carry out these activities, he has a shop set up at home. He diligently takes care of all customers who come by requesting service. He’s been in business six years and works with help from his family. He considers his business to be quite profitable because of the high demand his products have thanks to the growth of motorcycle and mototaxi vehicular traffic in the city he lives in. He likes his business because he feels it’s the result of his efforts and dedication that he was able to make reality with his family’s help.

Fortunately, thanks to the good results he’s been having his income has increased and his road towards progress continues. This is why he wants to add new functions within his establishment and be able to offer a complete package of vehicular services because he feels he still lacks a few things.

This is his 4th MFP loan and he is grateful to all those who make his access to this financing possible because he’ll feel more confident about being able to make progress in his work. On the other hand, he commits to make his installment payments punctually. Likewise, he feels very at ease and backed up by the members of his communal bank.

He will use the requested 1,500 new soles to invest in his business buying motorcycle spare parts; he will also buy a second-hand mototaxi valued at 850 new soles that he will repair and put up for sale.
