A loan of $500 helped to buy 5 bags of fertilizer and to pay the workforce needed in order to clean her corn field.

Lidia Dinora's story

Lidia is 38 years old and lives with her two underage children. She informally sells bread and tamales, among other food products. She is doing this since she was very young, because her parents were humble and worked in this line of work in order to obtain income for their family in a honorable and honest way. Today she feels proud of her work and also teaches her children to live this way.

The loan she is requesting to Fundación Campo, is to buy 5 bags of fertilizers and to pay the needed workforce for cleaning her corn field before spreading the fertilizers. Because of economic reasons, Lidia cannot buy the things she needs all at once, but with the loan she will be able to do so and to work in a better way. In this way, she will guarantee food for her family and if possible, an extra income by selling corn. She wants to continue working and teach her children the value of life.
