A loan of $1,000 helped to buy "bazin" (damask) fabrics.

Ayélé's story

Ayélé is married to an accountant. She is 35 years old and has no children in her care. She sells "bazin riche" (damask) fabrics that she buys from wholesalers who come from Mali, Senegal and other countries. Ayélé got involved in this business in 2007 and works as an itinerant seller in various neighborhoods of Lomé. Ayélé is requesting a second loan from WAGES, in order to buy some bazin fabrics and to better satisfy the needs of her customers. She would like to have a shop to better meet her customers' requests, and to be able to take care of her future children, one day.
