El Arroyito (Flat) Group's story

The group is called El Arroyito and is formed by three women, each of them living in a different Chicoasen neighborhood The interviewee is Lorma, who lives in a common-law marriage with José, with who she had three children who are still under her responsibility. They are studying secondary school and the youngest one is in primary school.

This loan is her seventh cycle and she says she is doing well because she invests it in the purchase of Jafra brand cosmetics, where she has been working for eight years. She says she is doing well because she has been getting her small family ahead thanks to it.

She started with this business to have her own income and also to provide support to her husband and together take care of the household expenses, so their children have everything they need and they can continue studying.

What she wants the most about her business is to become a distributor over time, so she can hire other colleagues who need a job. The ones joining the group are Elisabeth, who uses the loan to buy fruits and vegetables and Carolina, who buys ingredients for her economic kitchen.
