A loan of $1,000 helped to buy two crates of fish, two crates of meat and two sacks of rice.

Jeanine Monique's story

44 years old, Jeanine is married and the mother of four children who all attend a local school. The eldest is 17 and the youngest 3 years old. She has a store where she has sold general groceries and frozen goods for several years. She buys her stock at one of Benin's markets, and has a considerable customer base as her store is in a good location.
With the objective of growing her business and responding positively to customer demand, she has sought and obtained financial assistance from FINADEV-SA in order to buy two crates of fish, two crates of meat and two sacks of rice. This financing will allow her to maximise her additional revenue and to help cover the costs of her childrens' education.
