Tenneh's story

Tenneh is 29 and lives in Congo Town with her husband and two children. Her children are between the ages of three and nine and are in school. Her husband is a contractor. He gave her the initial capital to start in this business. For the past three years, she has been selling rice at retail in the community market. She is proud of her business because with the profit, she buys more goods and uses some profit on food. She is requesting a loan to purchase more bags of rice for resale. She has planned to educate her children and to build a house in the future.
