A loan of $800 helped to buy cattle feed and pay labor costs to clear the pasture.

Eladio's story

Eladio is from San Gabriel district; he has worked growing corn, beans and wheat for 35 years. He’s the father of six children. With savings earned working as a day laborer he was able to buy his cows. One of his sons helps him with the orchards and he hires day laborers to help him when the corn, beans and wheat is to be harvested; he sells them in Tipitapa and Boaco. He also sells curd made from his own cow’s milk. Eladio is now requesting a loan to buy feed for the cows and to pay labor costs to clear the pastures. He says the loan will help him because he will be able to better care for and feed his cows.
