A loan of $1,000 helped buy fabrics and jewellery to resell.

Adjeiley Ja Adam's story

Adjeiley Ja Adam is single and lives in Senegal.

Adjeiley Ja Adam has been involved in the dressmaking business for more than 10 years. She sells fabrics and jewellery, and the money she earns enables her to pay her rent (on her house and the shop where she runs her business), electricity bills and daily food costs. She works at her business for 10 hours a day.

Adjeiley Ja Adam is a member of one of the local UIMCEC branches in her area and she is requesting a loan of 500 000 francs to purchase fabrics and jewellery to sell. Her aim is to develop her business, increase her profits and add to her savings. Her ambition for the future is to open a sewing shop.
