Mudassar's Group's story

Mudassar is a 41-year-old woman who is living in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, with her husband, 3 daughters and 2 sons. Her husband has a private job and one son works in a mobile shop. Mudassar is a very hardworking and independent woman. By stitching clothes, she helps her husband meet the family needs and her children's education expenses. She has been operating her business very efficiently and honestly for the past four years, and her clients always appreciate her work. Mudassar, as a member of this eight-person lending group, has requested a loan from Kiva partner BRAC Pakistan to purchase a good quality tailoring machine so that she can work more efficiently. With the profit amount she will open her new tailoring shop in a market so that she can increase her customers. She wants to open a new mobile shop for her son in future as well. Best wishes to Brac and Kiva from her. Note: In the picture Mudassar holding a passbook in her hand.
