Gulipa's story

Gulipa is the leader of the Gulipa Group. She is 42 years old and has four children. As the main source of income for her family, Gulipa is engaged in raising crops and livestock, having started the business in 1988. Starting back with 600 rubles of Soviet money, Gulipa through hard work today has in her farm two dairy cows with offspring, ten sheep, and one horse. Monthly income from the farm brings about 5,000 Som (KGS).

With the aim of further developing her business, Gulipa requested a loan of 50,000 Som (KGS) from Bai-Tushum and Partners to buy ten sheep for fattening and resale. Gulipa plans to invest income from the loan into business development.
