A loan of $525 helped to buy corn and firewood for her business.

Suyapa Concepcion's story

Suyapa, 43, lives with her husband and two children in her house located in the community of Nacaome, in the south of Honduras. She earns a living making and selling tortillas in her house. She goes out in the afternoon and the morning to the Nacaome market to sell them. Suyapa is a very hardworking woman who wants to get ahead.

Suyapa is requesting 10,000 lempiras [HNL] to buy corn and firewood, the raw materials she uses to do her job. With the help of this loan she plans to supply the finances for her business and move forward with her project, which is to finish her house.

Suyapa's dream to finish her house has almost come true. With the profits generated by the loan she wants to fulfill other personal and family needs. She's very happy to continue working with Prisma on her loans.
