A loan of $375 helped to pay for fertilizer and garden inputs needed in her business.

Analyn's story

This is Analyn, 30, a resident of Silang, Cavite, Philippines. She is married to Joel, a driver, and a mother to her child. She, together with her husband, manages their own household while operating the business. At this time, she is working hard to continually provide income for their everyday expenses.

Analyn operates an ornamental plant business. She grows garden plants that are native to the Philippines like ylang-ylang, golden shower, and dahlias, and also varieties of hanging plants and others alike. Her regular customers are local tourists, neighbors and the nearby community. She earns a minimum of Php 300 in sales every day.

To help her continue operations of her business, she is requesting a Php 15,000 loan. She will be utilizing the loan to buy fertilizer and garden inputs for her business. She expects a boost in her business income as she expands her business.

Analyn dreams of growing her business in the coming years and hopes to live a peaceful life. She faithfully meets up with her co-fellowship members to share stories of her work every week and draw strength and inspiration from the Word of God she studies.

* All CCT community partners / clients are organized into fellowship groups that meet on a weekly basis. A fellowship group is composed of 15 to 30 community partners. The fellowship groups gather each week to study the Word of God, build social capital, and repay Micro Finance loans.
