Magret is a forty-year-old married woman living in Fort Portal, Uganda. After realizing that her husband alone could not support the family needs she decided to start a business dealing in secondhand shoes and has since reaped tangible benefits. She is so hardworking that she operates the business ten hours per day and she got startup capital from her husband. With the income earned she has been able to pay school fees for her children and also help her husband to build their residential house. Like all good mothers she dreams of educating her children up to the University and her business desire is to expand to new market areas despite challenges of high competition and inadequate capital. Magret is requesting a loan to buy shoes to sell.
This loan provides farmers and low-income entrepreneurs from underserved rural areas with access to financial services. By supporting this loan, you allow more farmers and rural entrepreneurs to access capital.
