Taem is 41 years old. She is married and resides with six children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in cultivating rice and fattening up pigs for more than twenty years, earning approximately $3 per day. Her husband helps her run the business. Three of her children are employed. They earn about $9 per day.
Taem is requesting a loan of $900 to purchase fodder to use for breeding pigs. In addition, a part of this money will be used to buy a motorbike for her children to commute to work. In the future, she would like to expand her business and help her children get higher education.
