Vong's story

Vong is 47 years old. She is married and resides with two children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She has been involved in breeding pigs and making creels to sell for more than four years, earning approximately $3 per day. Her husband is a construction worker who earns about $4 daily. Her children are construction workers. They earn about $9 each day. In order to improve her family’s finances, Vong is requesting a loan of $1200 to purchase piglets to breed and resell when they gain weight. In the future, she would like to expand her business and build a new house as soon as possible.
