Chan Vida is 41 years old. She is widowed and resides with her mother and four children in Siem Reap Province, Cambodia. She has been selling desserts for more than 10 years, earning approximately $8 daily. Two of her children are employed. They earn about $5 each day. Chan Vida is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase construction materials to fix a house to rent. By doing so, she would have a good house to rent and earn more income for the family. In the future, she would like to help her children earn bachelor’s degrees.
