Benedicta is a sari-sari store (general store) owner from the town of San Miguel, Bohol. She is 42 years old and married with four children ages 3, 8, 17 and 18. Her business has been in existence for 12 years. Her husband is a farmer and grows rice for their family.
She is asking for a loan to buy more merchandise like rice, eggs, soft drinks, beef loaf (canned beef), bread, feed, milk, soy sauce, cooking oil, vinegar and shampoo. She hopes that someday she will be more successful by expanding her business and making it bigger.
