A loan of $1,175 helped to buy children's clothing.

Aydee Gladys's story

Aydee, 47, lives in the city of Nazca, a place known for its warm climate, as well as tourist sites that are visited year round, like the Nazca Lines and the Cahauchi Cemetery, among others. Aydee is a very joyful and hardworking woman. When she has some free time, she likes to cook because she has a very good seasoning and she loves enjoying one of her favorite dishes: the delicious Pollo a la Brasa, a Peruvian chicken dish. Aydee has five children, who are all grown now. Together with her husband, she fought to move them forward and for them to be good people.

Day after day, with a lot of work and the will to move forward, Aydee studied a degree in early education. Thanks to this, she works in her childcare business. She works eight hours a day and attends to ten children every day in her daycare. She believes that it is going well for her, because the parents are happy with her work and most of all because she loves her job and has a lot of patience with the children.

Aydee is very grateful to the Kiva lenders, because thanks to the help they have given her she will be able to start a business selling clothing for boys and girls, with which she will be able to generate extra income and improve her quality of life. She will keep working and fighting to make her biggest dream a reality: "to have a bigger childcare center and to care for more children".
