James is 37 years old and lives in the city of Pucallpa. This city is noted for its warm and welcoming climate as well as for its very beautiful landscapes and, above all, its varied cuisine. Whenever he has any free time, James really enjoys going for walks with his family. He is the father of two children who are 15 and 10 years old. He loves them dearly and works very hard so that he can offer them a decent life. He gives them a lot of love. Owing to a lack of financial means, James could only study up to the fifth year of his secondary education but he would have liked to have gone on to study accountancy.

James works as a salesman in an electrical store in his city. He works around 9 hours a day and his work enables him to cover his household expenses. He believes that he is doing well in his work because he is very friendly with the customers and, above all, he is responsible in his work.

James is very grateful to Kiva lenders because, thanks to the help that they are providing, he will be able to make improvements to his home, repairing his roof. This is necessary because his house floods when it rains and his children sometimes become sick. With this improvement, he will be able to offer his family a better quality of life and continue working to make his biggest dreams come true: to provide his children with a good education and to own a large business.
