Chantha, age 33, is a tailor. She has been running her tailoring shop for more than two years, earning approximately $8 per day. Her husband is a motor taxi driver who earns about $4 daily. The family lives in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia.
In order to increase her income, Chantha is requesting a loan of $1,000 in order to purchase more cloth, which will allow her to sew more clothes to offer for sale. This money will help her stabilize her family’s livelihood.
In the future, she would like to expand her shop to provide better services for her clients.
