A loan of $850 helped to buy supplies for his crops and to clean and improve his fence.

Salustiano's story

Salustiano is from the El Rancho region. He makes a living growing corn, beans, and wheat. He also sells curd from the milk produced by his cows.

Salustiano says he began working in agriculture when he was 15 years old, with money he earned working as a day laborer. He used part of the money to buy supplies and saved the rest. Today he has his own land and cows. Two sons help him with the farming and he sells the harvest in the same region.

He's requesting this loan to buy the supplies for the corn and bean crops, and to clean and improve the fence around the field.

As a project he wants to continue working on his crops and buy some calves that, once fattened and sold, will give him a good profit.
