Jose Alejandro's story

José is a 20 year old man. He lives in the city of Cañete, in the district of Imperial in his grandmother's house. He loves her very much and is grateful for all of her care. He is a cheerful, responisble, hardworking and enthusiastic person who really wants to get ahead. Lamentably, due to a lack of resources and out of a need to work to support his grandmother, Jose was unable to sudy business administration, but he really would have liked to.

On his own initiative, with much hard work and dedication, Jose has worked in transportation service for four years. He has a motorcycle taxi which he uses to work. Every day he starts working very early, going out on the city streets seeking pasengers. He thinks it is going well for him because he is kind and respectful to his customers.

José is very grateful to the Kiva lenders, since thanks to their help he can pay for registry and the fee to start working in a formal transportation business. This way, José can keep working in a more stable and formal way. He hopes to keep offering his services and increasing his income. This will be very useful because soon he can start going to college and have a good profession and be a businessman.
