A loan of $675 helped to cover his grandmother's operation and hospitalization.

William Jesus's story

William is a single young man of 18. He lives in the city of Nazca with his parents and siblings. He is a friendly, hardworking and enthusiastic person who has a great desire to succeed. Thanks to his efforts and to his parents' support, William finished high school. Unfortunately, because of a lack of economic resources and because he has had to work to support his parents, he has been unable to study law, his chosen professional career. But he still wants to do so. In his free time, he likes to listen to music, and sometimes he cooks delicious fried chicken for his family.

On his own initiative, and with great determination and enthusiasm, William works as a security guard at a business in his city. Everyday, he starts work early in the morning, and he can work for about 12 hours. It is going well because of his responsibility, seriousness, and the respect he garners at his work.

William thanks Kiva lenders for helping him cover the expenses of his grandmother's operation and hospitalization. She currently has a painful illness and urgently needs this operation. In this way, William hopes to help his grandmother and see her make a quick recovery. He keeps working and putting in a lot of effort so that he can one day achieve his dream of studying for a professional career and become a good professional.
