A loan of $650 helped to buy cardboard, markers, pencils, folders, play dough, flip charts, shiny art paper, a ream of paper, and books.

Sheyla María's story

El Sauce is located 90 km from the department of León. It is a beautiful town surrounded by mountains in bloom and powerful rivers. It is known for having beautiful hard-working and entrepreneurial women, as is the case with Sheyla María, a married woman of 42, who works in her small business.

She began her business 25 years ago. It consists of a little, stocked book and stationery shop, which is well frequented by the population of this town because it is the only one that offers all type of school supplies.

She is applying for this loan to buy cardboard, markers, pencils, folders, play dough, flip charts, shiny art paper, a ream of paper, and books, with the aim of satisfying the demands of her customers, since it is now the season of patriotic festivals for this country, when these materials are much in use.

She is grateful to Kiva and to Ceprodel for the support of these small loans that help to improve the living conditions of many families of scarce resources and without which she would not be able to accomplish many dreams.
