Ella pertenece al departamento de Chinandega que está ubicado en la parte de occidente del país. Tiene por actividad económica la venta de ropa nueva, negocio en el que se desempeñado desde hace 25 años. Y lo tiene ubicado en uno de los mercados de la localidad. La rutina diaria de Silvia es de 10 horas diarias desde la 8: am hasta 6 pm. Con el financiamiento comprara mercadería como: pantalones, camisas, faldas, short, ropa interior.
