A loan of $1,550 helped to purchase soft drinks and disposable cups.

Bonifacia's story

Bonifacia is 51 years old. She is a happy and very hardworking woman. She lives with her partner, with whom she has one child who is already grown and independent. She has her own house where she lives alongside her partner, and there they educated and raised their child, who now supports them with many of their household expenses.

Bonifacia works purchasing soft drinks in bulk. She has an air-conditioned space in her house where she makes the sales. She also sells retail, earning her percentage by selling above her cost to purchase, since she sells them ice-cold. In addition, she has some other items that she sells, among them homemade breads and cakes that her customers crave.

She has been working in this business for more than 9 years, and she does it alone, since her partner works at other activities. She considers her business to be profitable because of the demand that she has and the good earnings that it gives her.

She enjoys her work, as she has time to do her household activities. She has good customers and it goes well for her, since she is able to save a good portion of her sales. Therefore, she hopes in the future to install a soda fountain so she will be able to continue growing economically.

This is loan number 17 with the organization MFP; happily, everything is going well for her and she hopes to continue to be compliant as she has been up to now. She is very grateful, because thanks to the loans, she was able to increase her capital and have more income. With the requested loan of 4000 soles, she will purchase a greater volume of soft drinks, including sodas in glass bottles and disposable cups. With this, she will have a greater quantity of merchandise in stock, and she will avoid having to spend on daily trips to make her purchases.
