Santos's story

50-year-old Santos is single and lives with his step-daughter and two grandchildren. He owns his own home which is located in el Jícaro Galán community, in Nacaome, in the south of Honduras. Santos has been selling soft drinks wholesale and retail for a number of years. He also sells all kinds of juice and sweet treats. He is a very hard-working, tenacious man who has a desire to do well in life.

Santos is requesting a loan for 25,000 lempiras to buy bottled and disposable soft drinks, juices, churros, sweet treats and other products that he sells in his business. With the support of this loan, he would like to further stock his business so that he can make better profits. With his profits, he would like to further expand his business.

Santos' dream is to improve his home. He would like to build it out of blocks because it is currently made from earth.
