A loan of $425 helped to buy meat, oil, plantains, green bananas, condiments, cornmeal, etc. for her business.

Reina Etelvina's story

Reina is 31 years old. She lives in the south of Honduras with her son and her husband, who helps her and supports her in her work. Her business is selling snacks, which she has been doing for three years now in her community. She works as a street vendor, and distributes her product in several towns and hamlets next to hers. Reina needs the loan to buy meat, oil, plantains, green bananas, condiments, cornmeal, etc. Hopefully, with this loan, her sales will increase, since she will buy a good quantity of products to meet her customers' needs. Her plan for the future is to grow day by day in her work, as well as earn a good income to have a better quality of life. Choluteca, Honduras - September, 2012
