Georgia's story

Georgia lives in Kampala, Uganda. She is married with four children and all her children go to school. She has no additional family members. She sells juice, soda and water in a shop that she rents. She sells her products on a retail basis. She has been in business for the last four years. She works seven days a week. She has requested a loan of Uganda shillings 200,000 from MCDT – SACCO to buy more crates of soda, passion fruits, pineapple and watermelon to make juice. Her major business challenges are transportation and seasonality. Her goals and aspirations are to buy a big fridge and a plot of land. She lives in a rented house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include school fees and rent.
