A loan of $200 helped a member to build a proper latrine for her family to use.

Vorn's Group's story

Aged 45 years, Vorn is a married mother of seven children. Three of her children are dependent on her and still in school. Her family lives in a rural area of the Sa Ang district of the Kandal province in Cambodia. She has earned a living through farming rice for 22 years. The current business earns her about 15,000 KHR per day, and she manages to save about 10,000 KHR each day after daily expenses. Vorn is a first-cycle client, while her group is a second-cycle client with VisionFund. Vorn is now leading her group of two to ask for a loan. She will use her portion to build a proper latrine for her family to use. She hopes this loan will enable her family to have a clean latrine for daily use, improving their healthy standard of living.
