A loan of $1,500 helped to buy two calves, grass and forage.

Hayrapet's story

Hayrapet is a farmer from Masis village in the Ararat region. He keeps pigs and hens and grows beans, peppers, wheat and fruit trees. Hayrapet would like to breed cows, too, but he doesn't have sufficient funds.

Hayrapet has applied for this loan to purchase two calves. He also plans to use the loan to buy forage for pigs and grass to feed the calves. He expects an increase in agricultural income after the calves grow up and give milk. This is important in order for Hayrapet to gather enough funds to purchase more cattle.

Hayrapet lives with his wife, two little daughters and pensioner parents. Agriculture is the main source of income for Hayrapet's family, and its development will allow him to ensure improved living conditions for them.
