Once Edwin decided to become independent of his father, he facilitated the capital and Edwin began to produce cement blocks; which he sells today to individual customers and in the hardware sector. He production process is made up mixing the materials, casting and drying. His sales are made in cash daily as are the purchases of important hardware stores in the municipal of Malambo, where he lives. His main goal is to increase his production and make adjustments to his housing, but his greatest challenge is the lack of working capital to increase his productive capacity.
Today he is applying for a Kiva loan with which he will buy sand and cement to make blocks and molds. With this investment he will achieve increasing his production and increasing his profits, doing much for the welfare of Edwin and his family.
