A loan of $1,550 helped to buy clothes and shoes.

Judith's story

Judith, 41, is a very cheerful woman. She lives with her husband and four children in her own house they bought thanks to their daily work. Judith is a priceless woman; she sells shoes and clothes for children, young adults and adults. She’s been doing this work for 12 years and can always count on help from her husband. What she likes about this work is that she was able to improve her quality of life thanks to it because it’s profitable and she always makes sales especially at the end of the month and on weekends which is when people from various communities come down to the city where Judith’s stand is located.

She will use the loan she got to buy merchandise for her business and her plan for the future is to open branches in other communities. This is her 11th loan and she thanks all the lenders who support her work in her business because thanks to the loans she gets she’s improved her sales stand. On the other hand, she enjoys being part of her communal bank because she works with responsible members. She will use the 4,000 new soles to stock up on clothes and shoes.
