A loan of $400 helped to buy stock merchandise for her store.

Yolanda's story

Yolanda, 31, lives in her own house with her husband, Ernesto, 33, and their four beloved children for whom she wants to provide a better future. Yolanda is a profitable merchant; her purpose is to be near her family and not neglect her duties. She succeeded in opening her grocery store 13 years ago and its sales are very good since her main customers are neighbors near her. Yolanda comments that there are advantages and disadvantages to the work she does which she has to face and continue forward with sales in order to cover expenses.

Since she first requested MFP loans her business has done very well because she’s able to continue with her business plans. This is her 8th loan and she is sure that she’ll be able to make her respective payments. In addition, she does very well in her communal group. She will use the 1,000 new soles to buy merchandise to stock her store in order to secure more customers.
