A loan of $400 helped to buy bags of fertilizer.

Luisa's story

Luisa, 45, is an industrious woman. She lives in her own house with her husband Víctor, 47, and her five beloved children, who support their beautiful mother in getting ahead. For 20 years Luisa has made a living growing coffee plants, a job she does with great effort so she can have a good harvest. Luisa and her husband and children go out very early to check the growth of their plants and to do the maintenance. What she most wants is to increase her crop because selling the fruit is very profitable. This is why she's coming to MFP to request a loan to help her have more productive crops. This is her fifth loan. She's willing to be punctual with her payments. Also, in her communal bank she's a supportive and responsible member. With the 1,000 nuevos soles [PEN] she'll be able to buy fertilizer to maintain her coffee plants.
