Ku-Mem Group's story

Kadie is the leader of this group of entrepreneurs. Born in Mano, she is 40 years old, married to a medical officer and the mother of seven children, four of whom are attending secondary and tertiary institutions. Kadie sells gara lappers (locally dyed clothes) and Bamako clothes (clothes dyed in Mali). She has been a businesswoman for many years now.

With the help of this loan, Kadie and her group members will be able to expand their businesses, make more sales, and thereby improve their living conditions. Kadie will use her share of the loan to buy gara lapper-making materials – ink, caustic soda, powder, white cotton clothes, etc. in order to produce a larger quantity of clothes for sale.
