Robeena's story

She has been successfully running a small general store in her community for the last ten years.The woman shown in the photo is Robeena, the photo is blurred due to malfunctioning of the camera. She offers various goods for daily use. She has good communication skills and counts on a good client list. Her husband is employed in a small factory and earns insufficient income to support his family alone.

She is a mother of five children. She is motivated to provide for her family. As she wants to grow her business, she has requested a loan of PKR 40,000 to buy stock of rice and flour from the market at lower rates. She then would be able to meet the increasing demand consistently. She is in her 6th loan cycle and has shown excellent repayment behavior. She wishes to utilize part of her revenue to deal with personal expenses and to increase business capital.
