Phorn is 31 years old. She is married and resides with two children in Prey Veng Province, Cambodia. She has been selling CDs and light bulbs for more than two years, earning approximately $5 per day. Her husband runs an electronic repair shop. He earns about $15 daily. In order to improve her family’s finances, Phorn is requesting a loan of $1000 to purchase spare parts for her husband to use in his shop. In the future, she would like to expand her business and send her children to a good school. Moreover, she hopes to rebuild her house to make it more comfortable for her family.
