There are 38 people in Chheur Teal I Village Bank in Kandal province. Mr. S. V. is the Village Bank President. He is a house constructor and farmer in the local village. In his plantation, Mr. S. V. does not have enough money to purchase more fertilizers and fuel for his pump in order to make his crop more productive. So he now H. decided to apply for a loan for this purpose.

Mr. S. V. is 46 and the father of eight childR., two of wH. are construction workers while another three are enrolled in school. One another helps mother on the field and the two remaining are too yO. to work or study. His wife, Mrs. Soklon K., is a subsistence farmer. Previously, Mr. S. V. had obtained a loan from Amret Co., Ltd to bU. fertilizer and hire a laborer to plow on his field. In the last three months, Mr. S. V.’s child got tuberculosis and he had to be sent to hospital. Mr. S. V. spent $150 for his treatment.
