Daniel is 77 years old. He is married and lives in Kasese, Uganda with 12 children. He has been farming for 40 years,and he started farming in order to supplement his salary while he workedd in the ministry of Education but has now retired from active service and earns a monthly pension . With the money he earned, he was able to pay school fees for his children and six of them now have degrees.
Growers Cooperative Society ltd purchases most of his produce and exports it to neighboring countries. The main challenges he faces include disease and seasonal weather. He has dreams of renovating his house and modernizing his farming activities.
