A loan of $775 helped to buy fashionable dresses and shoes to sell.

Lizbeth Yessenia's story

Lizbeth, 21 years old, is single and lives in Ica with her parents and siblings. She is a pleasant, entrepreneurial and enthusiastic young woman with a great desire to succeed, and thanks to her own efforts and her parents' support, she is currently studying Business Administration. In her spare time she likes to continue working and sometimes she cooks a fantastic Chicken Rice to share with her family. After much hard work and dedication, and her mother's support, Lizbeth started her small business selling and hiring dresses. She rents a small shop to run her dress business and she works every day from very early in the morning for approximately 8 hours. She believes that her business is doing well because it is in a very central location and her dresses are fashionable.
Lizbeth is very grateful to the Kiva lenders as the help that they offer will enable her to buy this season's shoes and dresses to keep her shop well-stocked. Consequently, she hopes to increase her sales and her income, which will go towards hiring a bigger shop in the future. Eventually, she hopes to achieve her greatest dream of completing her studies to become a professional business-person and have her own home.
