A loan of $400 helped to buy sacks of fertilizer.

Juana's story

Juana, 45, is married to Jorge, 49. They live together in their own house with their 5 children, to whom they try to give the best lives and futures.

With a lot of hard work, Juana has achieved success working on her lands and making them productive. She cultivates cacao and coffee plants, products which, once harvested, she sells to distributors at wholesale pricing.

Her work has given her the necessary income to sustain herself and help with the family expenses. For this reason, she hopes to put all of her earnings towards her business' progress.

Her favorite part of her job is looking after the plants because she is very happy doing it.

She has 24 years of experience in this kind of work. She considers the hardest part of her job transporting the products. She has the unconditional support of her husband, whom she considers her right hand.

With the credit she received, she needs to purchase numerous sacks of fertilizer to fertilize her lands and return them to productivity over the course of time.

Much later, she hopes to buy more land to increase her cultivation.

This is her fourth credit, and she feels happy because of the collaboration of her financiers, since she is now able to carryout her business plans. At her communal bank, she appreciates her associates for allowing her to work with them.

With the 1,000 nuevos soles, she will purchase sacks of fertilizer.
