A loan of $400 helped to buy sacks of manure.

Daniel's story

Daniel, 36, is a hardworking man living in his own house with his spouse, Norma, 35, and their three beloved children. Daniel’s activity is tilling the soil to plant coffee, cocoa beans and stevia; he’s been doing this for 25 years. During the harvest season he hires day workers to help him in order to pick the beans faster and take them to the gathering centers to be sold. What he considers to be difficult is eradicating pests that affect his fruit because they keep him from getting a good crop yield. Therefore, he’s turning to MFP to request a loan that will help him with his work plan and not damage his crops.

This is loan #7 and he feels happy for the trust placed in him so he commits to be punctual with his installment payments. He thanks his communal bank for letting him work with responsible, supportive people. He will use the 1,000 new soles to buy manure so that the pests won’t affect his fruit plants.
