Tailor stalls line the streets where store owners sell material and work their sewing machines. These skilled tailors make school uniforms for children as well as the traditional women's kurta surwal and men's daura surwal. With Kiva loans, BPW borrowers are able to purchase additional cloth material or sewing machines that will increase production and profitability.
