A loan of $500 helped to buy a gas-powered oven.

Jose Israel's story

Jose has been a baker for the past 10 years. He lives with his wife, but they do not have any children at the moment. He learned this trade by working at a bakery since he was a boy, but then he began making sales by working with an older gentleman with whom he shares the profits.

Jose now wants to become independent and start his own business. In order to do this, he needs a loan to cover some of his upfront expenses that he will incur. The loan he is requesting will be used to buy a gas-powered oven since this will be the main piece of equipment that he needs for making his own bread. This will help him to establish a new customer base and work independently so that he can support his family.

Jose’s goal with this loan is to establish his bakery so that it can grow in the future. He wants to keep maturing so that he can always work independently on behalf of his family.
