Elibar Indalecio's story

Elibar, 50, is single. He attended secondary school and lives with his parents in the city of Santo Domingo, capital of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas Province, a province in Ecuador that in recent years has had quite a bit of sustained growth. Its capital is a city whose most attractive and eye-catching features is the fruit and the many tourist sites to visit. It also has considerable commerce since it’s become a land port for commercial interaction between the mountains and the coastal regions of the country. It also has many tourist attractions which when added to its hot climate makes it very popular with both national and international tourists alike. Elibar’s parents taught him when he was still a boy to raise animals for subsequent sale. Twenty-five years ago Elibar went into this business full-time and over the years it’s grown. He puts in however many hours are necessary with no fixed schedule. However, he comments that losses are big when animals get sick which is why he’s called on Fundación Alternativa for a loan to buy supplies to improve the care of his animals and also to buy more animals to increase his income.
