A loan of $1,600 helped to buy snack foods, candy, canned goods, beverages, and other products.

Brigida Narcisa's story

Brigida is 36 years old. She started out managing an ice cream shop from a rented location, but then she came up with the idea to open a store. With a bit of planning, she now works in this business that she operates with the help of her mother who lives with her. Brigida’s work schedule is from 8:00 A.M. to 10:45 P.M.

One of her challenges is dealing with discomfort in her spinal column, which prevents her from working normally. Brigida is a single mother with three children, seven-year-old twin boys and a six-year-old daughter who attend a private school.

With this loan, Brigida will buy merchandise for her store such as snack foods, candy, canned goods, beverages, and other products. Among her goals are to provide an adequate education for her children, make improvements to her home, and expand her store.
