A loan of $800 helped to buy masonry forms to rent out.

Serigne Saliou's story

Monsieur Serigne Saliou is a married man who lives in Senegal. He has worked for more than 20 years in the sector of masonry. Monsieur Serigne begins his work day at 8am and finishes at 6pm. The revenue that he earns allows him to take care of his family's everyday expenses and simultaneously pay for his child's school fees. He is a member of an UIMCEC branch and is asking for a loan of 400,000 XOF, to be used to buy forms for masonry that he will rent out. His intention is to increase his revenue with the goal of diversifying the services that he offers, increasing the number of employees he has to seven, better supporting his child's school feeds, and also improving the conditions of his family's diet. His future plan is to strengthen his savings and to create his own business.
