Joice Awate's story

Joice is a 38 year-old businesswoman who lives in Juba. She is married and has three children between the ages of 6 and 13, all of whom go to school.

Joice runs a general store, and has been in business for five years. She has no employees. She heard about Finance Sudan through other clients, and is seeking a loan of 1500 SDG so she can purchase cowpeas, beans, onions, and other items for her store. She has no other source of income.

In five years Joice would like to expand her business. Her major challenges include high prices in the market.
